Outlook 2013 won't download emails

Office 2013 was purchased already installed by HP on a new computer in the last year.  It is running windows 7.

Email has performed mostly fine until recently.  It slowly began having trouble connecting and downloading, thankfully outgoing is working flawlessly.  Cell phone and a laptop using Thunderbird have no difficulty connecting and downloading and until recently, Outlook would also.  Slowly more and more attempts attempts were required, but eventually they'd come in.  My last success was last night after about 75 tries and then only on one acct and it brought in multiple copies.  Now nothing.

Hi,

Which type of email account are you using? IMAP, POP3 or Exchange?

Based on my research, the error message 0x800CCC92 is usually caused due to incorrect username and the password for the email account. To fix the issue, please try to reset or update a new password using the webmail interface and then check if this issue persists.

If the issue still persists, it may be that your password is not retained even though you chose to save the password. To fix it, please try using Inbox Repair Tool to scan and repair your Outlook data file to se the result. For your reference:
