Outlook 2013 slow when moving emails from Inbox to subfolders.
On a couple of PCs using Outlook 2013 we changed POP3 accounts to IMAP accounts for the same email addresses. (Our ISP finally began supporting IMAP). Everything syncs just fine between Outlook 2013 on Windows 7 and the iPad and iPhone. but when moving an email to a subfolder in Outlook, it is very slow.  On the iOs devices there is no lag or slowness moving emails from the Inbox to a subfolder.

Hi,

I did a test within my IMAP account in Outlook 2013, moving emails from Inbox to a subfolder was fast.

You can start Outlook in Safe Mode to check if it is still slow:

Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the Run dialog, press Enter.

If Outlook isn't slow in Safe Mode, we may need to disable some 3rd-party add-ins to verify which one caused the slowness issue.

By the way, how large is the IMAP mailbox? If it is too large, it may cause some performance issues in Outlook.
