Outlook 2013 slow if you have connected additional mailboxes

Hello,

i have a (big) Problem with Outllok 2013, and i did already a few things to sort out some possible solutions. Even one of our customer has access to more than one Mailbox within Outlook (shared mailboxes) , the Software slow down that you are not able to read mails or switch to another Folder without drinking a coffee.

We have actual a brandnew Exchange 2013 Environment and the client OS is Windows 7, and i did already the following things

  • install all Updates (WSUS)
  • disable Hardware graphics.......
  • run Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool and disabled Bluetooth Add-in

maybe someone can help me and sorry for my bad English im not an English native Speaker :)

btw. If I install Outlook 2010 the problem didn't come up, only with O2013

thanks in advance for some hints

best regards/mit freundlichen Gren

Hi,

From your description, additional mailbox works well on Outlook 2010 but it works slowly on Outlook 2013. Then the issue is related to the Outlook side. Actually, we have a dedicated support team regarding the Microsoft Office. I recommend you ask your question on our Microsoft Office forum which is staffed by more experts specializing in this kind of problems. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi,

Please make sure your customers are using Outlook in Cached Exchange Mode, in this mode Outlook usually performs much better than in Online Mode.

As you mentioned there's a hang for quite long, please check if there's any error in the event logs, this may help determine the cause of the issue.

To get the event logs: Press Win + R, type "eventvwr" in the blank box, press Enter. Browse to Windows Logs -> Application, check if there's anything about the hang issue. You can send the logs to our email address for analysis:

ibsofc@microsoft.com

Please attach the thread url in the email as well.
