Outlook 2013 reminder problems in Inbox/Sent Items
I hope someone can solve this problem. My company recently migrated to Office 365 and Office 2013. In Outlook 2013, ever since my company enforced a new rule last week to move all emails older than a month to the Microsoft Exchange Server and we have to click on that link to view older emails, my old emails that had been flagged and with reminders set no longer pops up when it's supposed to. Even though I click to view the older emails, the reminders just don't pop up. The emails are highlighted in red because they are overdue. Is there a solution to this or is this how its going to be? This is affecting my work, because I rely on the reminders to pop up on older emails as I still refer to them. It would be not be efficient to have to go through all my flagged emails to see which one needs my attention today. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You should definitely discuss this with your IT support team. If they are not able to change the default retention policies, the least they can do is to allow you do configure a custom tags for your folders.

To check if such options are available, right-click on a message, select Assign Policy and check the available settings. To control this on the folder level, right-click on a folder, select Properties, Policy and adjust the settings under "Online archive".
