We use Outlook in a service we built to open and convert .msg files to .pdf with third party software. But sometimes it seems that Outlook is freezing and a process officec2rclient.exe seems to be started multiple times

We use Outlook in a service we built to open and convert .msg files to .pdf with third party software.

In what process does Outlook crash? If we manually save a message as .msg file and then use the third-party software to convert it to .pdf file, will Outlook crash?

Since this issue only happens with one machine, we can try using the Inbox Repair Tool (Scanpst.exe) to scan and repair Outlook data file, in case the issue is caused by corruption in Outlook data file. To do this, please refer to the following KB article:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/272227

In addition, we may also try using the Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT) to scan your Office installation to check if there are any problems. See:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2812744

Please let me know the result.
