Outlook 2013 cannot authenticate to exchange 2010

Hi!

I have a client with SBS2011 (Exchange 2010) and a WIN7 Pro WS with Outlook 2013.  A couple of days ago it started asking him for a password but wouldn't accept the correct one.  His password has not changed.  OWA works fine with the same credentials.  I've deleted and recreated his profile. Deleted his OST file.  No luck.  When trying to create a new profile autodiscover does not work.

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike

Yes.  1 user...

It sounds like the trust between the WS and Server has gone down.

Please try to create a differnet profile using differnet machine to see either it works or not.

if yes

Remove the WS from domain and rejoin it for trust.

Rejoining the trust was the ticket...

Hi Mike,

Please run Outlook under the Safe mode to avoid some AVs and add-ins for testing.

Also try to delete the credentials on Win7.

More details in the following article:

Remove stored passwords, certificates, and other credentials

Hope it is helpful

Thanks
