Outlook 2013 automatically deletes email

I am using Windows 8 and office 2013.

Something triggers a state when emails into a outlook folder are deleted after few seconds.

It first occurred in my inbox folder itself. I then deleted the email account and set it up again. And then it was working OK for about two weeks. And today I see the same behavior in a folder I create to which I move mails that I want to keep long term. When I move the email to this folder, the mail is moved and then in about 5 secs later it just disappears into this air even deleting it off the Mail Server.

The server is not exchange. I think my cloud provider uses Parallels Plesk. I use IMAP connection.

Any help will be great.

Regards

Divesh

Based on your situation, pleaes try to clean your IMAP account as the steps below:

1. Logon your IMAP email account through Web-based Access.

2. Create a new subfolder under inbox and move all of messages in inbox to the new one.

(Perform the same steps if you have other folder)

3. Move the messages back to the original Inbox folder.

4. On the client site, please create a new Outlook profile and resetup your IMAP account: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918

5. Sync your account again to check if the issue still persists.

Thanks.

HI Divesh,

You check it with ur server team coz they are creating rules & alerts. That option in 2013 if its enable means this error ll occured if its disabled means the mail ll stayed in long days.
