Outlook 2013 and username password prompt for authenticating to exchange on Windows 10 is missing

I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 from 8.1 and my outlook isn't working properly.  I use outlook to connect to my corporate Exchange server and my pc is not on the domain.  I was prompted for username and password on Windows 8.1 when I launch Outlook 2013 but since the upgrade to Windows 10, I don't have that option.  It opens a windows security windows with connecting to xxx@xxx.com and stays there.  Never prompting me for a username and password.   Hope someone can guide me in the right direction in getting this resolved.

Here is the screenshot:

So basically I hit the "type exchange password and connect"  I get the connecting and there isn't a location on the prompt to type in my username and password

Hi Steve,

Do you have the "Always prompt for logon credentials" option enabled under Account Settings for your Exchange account?

In addition, please also try repairing your Exchange account to see if it will help. To do this, click File > Account Settings > Account Settings. Under Email tab, highlight your Exchange account and click Repair button.

Please let me know the result.

I do have the "always prompt for logon credentials" already checked and have done the repair.  Like I said it works fine on Windows 7, 8.1, but on Windows 10 I don't get the username password entry box.  Same settings on outlook.

Here is my setup:

Windows 10, Outlook 2013, Exchange 2013 (corporate), and not on domain.

Could you try and replicate the issue?

I am having the exact same issue here. Same setup. The issue happens for anything where you need to enter a password. Going to a Share, RDP and Outlook login are all showing the same behavior.

Always Prompt for login credentials is checked in outlook.

I was thinking this might be a setting in Internet Options in IE, but I don't' see anything in there that would cause it.

Is there some new security in place for authenticating with devices that are on a domain that you are not a part of?  The PC I am attempting to do this on is not part of the domain, exact same situation as the original poster.

I would have to concur with you Sean.  After using Windows 10 a bit more I am getting the same thing for everything that requires a username password.  I'm not getting that ability.
