Goal: copy existing Outlook calendar to outlook.com in order to sync to mobile devices via EAS to outlook.com. What I did: created a new outlook.com account to make sure I didn't have any left-over hotmail connector issues. Installed Office 2013 RTM. Added outlook.com account (it automactically created it as EAS account). Copied calendar events from pst calendar to outlook.com account calendar (list view; select all; ctrl-drag to outlook.com calendar). Everything looks good locally. All calendar events copied locally to ost. After F9, no complaints. Sync errors folders are empty. Wait overnight. Still no events in web outlook.com calendar. Then I add new event in Outlook calendar; sure enough it shows up on web. Edit event on web; sure enough it shows up correctly in Outlook. So sync is working, just not for all those events I copied. EAS syncing to outlook.com just isn't working correctly. EAS to outlook.com is touted as better replacement for hotmail connector, but doesn't work as well. Read on this forum about contacts not syncing unless you edit each one. Sounds siimilar. Even a way to "force a new sync" would probably fix my issue, but can't find it. Any suggestions?
I'm about to give up on EAS and find another sync tool to get my Outlook calendar into mobile device and by-pass outlook.com.
