Outlook 2013 New appointment grayed out

Our organization uses Office 365

I have started rolling out Outlook 2013 to some users.
Now they cannot request meetings that have to be approved by someone else.

It works fine in Office 365 OWA and in Outlook 2007.

please help.

Hi,

Do you mean the New Appointment button or the New Meeting button that is grayed out?

Are you running Outlook in cached Exchange mode? If so, please switch to online mode to see if the issue continues.

Does this issue happen in the user's default calendar or a shared calendar? If it is a shared calendar, what's permission is granted to the users on the shared calendar? We can use Get-mailboxfolderpermission cmdlet to check who has permission on a mailbox calendar and what permission.

Get-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity john@contoso.com:\calendar |fl
