Outlook 2013 uses a ridiculous amount of space for the Message Header.

This reduces the amount of space available for the reading pane.

This is a bug in Outlook 2013. Please fix this bug and issue a patch.

I TOTALLY AGREE>.i have spent over an hour trying to solve this and it is the WORST feature i have found by Far in Office 2013...thinking about switching back. 

i used to use the bottom view reading pane, but it is more or less impossible to use now the way this thing is set up.
