Outlook 2013 Calendar invites not working with OWA
In my organization we have a few Mac's and the rest Windows machines, Outlook on Windows doesn't seem to play well with Outlook 2011 on the Mac's so the Mac users will accept shared calendar invites via OWA.  Recently we added Outlook 2013 to the mix and it seems that users sending calendar invites from Outlook 2013 cannot be opened via OWA.

Hi,

What's your OWA version? Please make sure the proper calendar permission has been given to this user. Then we can try the following steps in OWA 2010 to open the shared Calendar:

1. Open OWA, switch to Calender view.

2. Click Share > Add Calendar.

3. Type the user name who shared this calendar to you. Click OK to open it.

Then check whether the shared Calendar can be opened in OWA.

The users, myself included for testing, have been given Editor privileges and can open the calendar from Outlook 2010 via the emailed link, however when opening the same link in OWA the error message "The folder cannot be opened because it no longer exists or you do not have permission" shows up.

Hi,

Sorry for my delay. Have you tried the following steps to open the shared calendar in OWA?

Please try it to check whether the shared calednar can be opened. Additionally, we can send the calendar sharing request in Outlook Online mode, then reveive the sharing request in OWA and check whether the shared calendar can be opened with the link in Inbox folder.
