Outlook 2013 - reports email size as 0b once it is moved from inbox to any other imap folder

Bit of a weird one but I've had no end of problems with Outlook 2013 and IMAP folders. Now in the past few days whenever I move an email from the IMPA account inbox to any other imap folder the file size changes to 0B. I can still open the email fine. If I move it back to the Inbox it stays at 0B size. If I move it to a PST file it displays the correct file size. If I go onto the web interface and move the email when I go back to outlook it displays the correct file size again. It is only Outlook 2013IMPA folder where the problem lies. None of these emails are large either a few hundred KB at most.

Any ideas appreciated

Hi,

I did reproduce this issue on my IMAP account in Outlook 2013, the cause for this issue is still unknown. I can only make it display the correct size after removing the .ost file for the IMAP account from C:\users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

It displays correctly with the new data file, however, it will still come back if I move a message from Inbox to other folders.

It does display correctly when I open a message and go to check FILE -> Properties.

You can press Ctrl + Alt + 7 or Ctrl + Alt + 8 to submit this issue, or simply click the small icon at the top right corner to submit your feedback:

Hi,

I have the same problem. Is now a solution to the problem found or is a fix in progress?

Exactly the same problem here.

Outlook still seems to work fine and the properties of all messages seem intact, but the displayed size of all moved items is showing as 0b. Strangely, sorting mails by size still works, but the results looks visually bizarre! So the information exists, but the display field is obviously not looking in the right place for it.

I installed Office 13 fresh on my Win7-64 system today, and I have the same problem.

Any solution?

I have the same issue on Outlook 2013.

Whether I move emails from an IMAP account to another one or from a PST to an IMAP.

Emails are fine, but the size is always 0B.

Interestingly, the size comes back to normal If I delete the account thus the ost file and recreate it. After downloading all emails from the server, the size is back to normal.
