With the expectation of gaining better productivity with office 2015, I've gone backwards.

Firstly the issue of not being able to access outlook 2013 if you have a screen saver other than MS basic wallpaper, it would not open.

Now I can not access any task or contacts in Outlook and the connection to iCloud is not available.

Is there a solution please?

When trying accessing icloud contacts and tasks, did you get any error message?

Which type of email account are you using? IMAP, POP3 or Exchange?

Please try opening the iCloud control panel and sign out of the iCloud, then sign back in (and enable syncing, if not enabled when you sign in) to see if it will fix the issue.
