Outlook 2013 - Problem with a custom form

Hi,

I have a problem with a custom form that crashes Outlook every time I reply with it

Here are the steps that I have done:

On the Developer tab, I created a new form.

I chose the standard model "Message" (message class IPM.Note).

In the designer I deleted the message field and added my form fields.

I have published the form as "Request".

Still on the same form, on the tab (Actions) I changed the action "Answer" by choosing my new form "Request"

Again, I published my new form.

I performed my new form, filled the fields and sent it to my e-mail address.

I have received and fully consulted. Everything worked fine.

I wanted to test the answer by clicking the "Reply" button and have completed the form.

When I clicked on "Send" Outlook crashed and displayed a window "Outlook has encountered a problem" with a button "Restart Outlook."

No other message.

Anyone have an idea on what I did wrong?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Raynald,

Have you tried clean up Outlook's form cache? If not, please have a try and then test the issue again:

1. Click File > Options > Advanced.

2. Scroll down to the Developers section, click Custom Forms button.

3. Click Manage Forms button.

4. Click Clear Cache button.

5. Restart Outlook.

Hope this helps.
