Outlook 2013 (shared Contacts & Journals) Folder View

Environment:  Office 2013 Client (Office 365 E3)

I have shared Contacts & Journals, but they cannot see the shared Contacts & Journals from the Folders View (i.e. bottom of Outlook:  Mail, Calendar, People, Task, FOLDERS, etc).

Any ideas?

Why do I want them to see shared contacts and journals from the Folders view?  Because they would be able to drag and drop a contact to the Journal Folder and it will prepopulate the Journal with the contact info.

P.S. MSFT needs to bring back at lease the note capability of Journals, like it was in Office 2010 (e.g. right click on contact create Journal).

I recommend you follow the steps below to view the shared contacts on Outlook 2013.

Open Outlook -> click the Folders on the bottom of Outlook -> click the Contacts -> click "Open Shared Contacts"
