Hi,

Please first check if Outlook will crash in Safe Mode:

Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the Run dialog, press Enter.

If Outlook doesn't crash in Safe Mode, we can suspect some 3rd-party add-ins caused the issue, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which one caused the problem.

We can also run the System File Checker to scan all protected system files and replace the incorrect versions with the correct Microsoft versions:

  • Click Start > All Programs > Accessories, and then right-click Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator.
  • In the command prompt, type sfc /scannow and press Enter.
  • When the system scan is complete, try to install Office again.

If the problem persists, we will need to perform a clean boot to determine whether background programs are interfering with Outlook.
