Hello,

I just switched from Office 2010 to 2013, and one thing that I noticed is that when I use Conversation View in Outlook, I cannot see any messages from other folders (I'm especially interested on seeing the Sent Messages), even when the option "Show Messages from Other Folders" is selected.

I never had this problem with Outlook 2010, and I have been looking around at additional options, but without luck.

Is there something that I'm missing?

ok it appears I do not have the "Show Messages from Other Folders" as an option.  

When I click on Conversation settings I get:

-Show Senders Above the subject

-Always Expand Selected Conversation

-Use Classic Indented View

How do I enable "Show Messages from Other Folders" ??

****UPDATE - issue resolved

I have resolved the issue and was able to get the "show messages from other folders to appear"

I needed to enabled "Cached Exchange Mode"  -- It appears that this option needs to be enabled for many of Outlook 2013 options to work properly.

Could you help? I'm using @live.com email account.

I have the option "Show Messages from Other Folders" selected but only new email conversation showing my sent mail (starting from the time I install Outlook 2013). All other email thread before that time don't show sent email. I have tested this once last month, and today is my 2nd time on a fresh install of Windows 7 and Office 2013.

I also tried fresh install of Outlook 2010 on another PC, it's working correctly, all conversation thread old and new show my sent email.

I have the exact same problem.

Trying to enable "Cached Exchange Mode" did not help

Any solution/fix?

Try:

File, Options, Mail - check "Enable preview for Rights protected emails"

Still not showing sent mail in inbox conversation. Thanks though.

My Outlook 2013 already set to Show Messages from Other Folders and Use Cached Exchange Mode.  When it stops showing sent messages I close Outlook and reopen and they show again.  This has happened multiple times in the few weeks I have been using Outlook 2013.
