I run exchange 2013 and I have 2 different users with the same problem. People with the problem are running Windows 7 PRO And office 2010. Search feature in outlook 2010 skips 4 months. Example: If I plug in a search for "jones" today the results will start from September of 2014 and list backward with (Newest on top)mail setting. Even though there are several emails from jones in each month (oct-nov-dec-jan) and list backward date wise. I then tried this same search in Outlook Web App with the EXACT same result.

If anyone has seen this type of problem before and can direct me to a fix it would be appreciated.

Hi,

Please try to turn off cached mode to check the result.

If this doesnt work, please try to recreate outlook profile.

If this issue persists, please try to repair Outlook by the following  steps:

1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
2. Click Programs and Features.
3. Click the outlook 2010 program, then click Change.
4. Click Repair, then click Continue. You might need to restart your computer after the repair is complete.
