Outlook 2010 search function does not work properly - when run a search by name or subject - it does not show every item on result. I select send items and run a search by the name and it shows email from that person from long time ago when I know and see email as recent as today - email i send out today.

Hi Monir,

What’s your OS version? I suspect your OS is Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Click start and in the search box type "Index". Go into the Indexing Options applet and Click "Modify". When the Indexed Locations dialog comes up, make sure " Microsoft Outlook" is checked.

If the issue still persists, you can rebuild the index to test this issue.

How do you rebuild the index?. I am encountering the same issue with outlook 2010. The search functionality does not work anytime I try to retrieve a name. Can someone please help me out here.
