I have tried repairing, creating a new pst file, rebuilding, changing settings and still happens.  Have the same setup on another PC and no problems at all.  Both Microsoft Office 2010 installed at nearly the same time.  Started several weeks ago.  Anti virus finds no problems.

Please try these steps:

Open MS Outlook >> File Tab >> Options >> Click on Search option >> Click on Indexing Options (Right Pane) >> Modify Button & Make sure PST File is selected.
