Outlook 2010 problem
My outlook 2010 has been playing up for a while, its been asking me to use a temporary mail box and now it wont open at all, it says the server in unavailable, this has been happening for a week now and say do i want to work offline. How do i get my emails back and into outlook again?

Hi,

It seems your Outlook data file has been corrupted, please try the methods below.

If it's an .ost file, please remove it from Outlook, Outlook will generate a new one to sync the next time it starts, check the result then.

If it's a .pst file, please run Scanpst.exe to scan and repair it:

Or in a simple way, create a new Outlook profile to setup the account then check the issue again.

If the problem persists, please provide the exact error message to me so that I can do further research on it.

You should firstly try to delete the existing OST file from the system. Once you are done, open Outlook and again connect with Exchange, Outlook will then recreate the OST file. See if you still face the problem. If yes, then it means your PST file is corrupt. To repair PST file, try to run Scanpst.exe or any third party tool like Stellar Phoenix Outlook PST Repair software, in case Scanpst.exe fails to repair the PST file.
