Hi, 

outlook is crashing at startup. I briefly see my inbox but don't get a chance to interact at all before it crashes. When I click on details (after it crashes), I get the info below. Is there an easy way to fix this without reinstalling and/or losing all my email folders and data?

I am running MAPI against gmail.

Please launch Outlook in safe mode to check the result. (Type Outlook.exe /safe in Windows Search bar and press Enter.)

If the issue is gone, please go to File > Options > Add-ins > Go and disable suspicious add-ins.

If it is no avail, please create a new outlook profile follow the article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918.
Then re-setup your Gmail IMAP account to fix the issue. Thanks.

You can try running outlook in safe mode but sometime it doesn't work in that case you can try out creating a new profile.
