Outlook 2010 crashes when printing calendar in a montlhy view (high detail)

Hi All,

I have seen similar threads to this but nothing 'quite' matches this scenario.

Windows 7
Outlook 14.0.6129.5000 x86
Exchange 2010
Folder redirection is enabled in the environment but Appdata is all local

When the user prints from his calendar in the monthly view the application hangs.  It only seems to occur if High Detail is switched on. Sometimes just selecting the monthly option when print previewing causes the application to crash before even hitting the Print button.

Medium Detail and Low Detail work
The calendar is not shared and he has no other calendars
Any printer, physical or virtual doesn't make a difference
Nothing useful (to me at least) in the event logs - just the generic Application Hang/Crash error

Steps taken to resolve:

Deleted OutlPrnt
Repaired and reinstalled Office
Tried a fresh machine that the user has never logged onto before
Used the Outlook Calendar Assistant (this works but using a 2nd application is not ideal)
I have tried to replicate this on my machine but have been unsuccessful

His calendar is pretty full but I would be surprised if this was the problem?

Hoping you can help! :)

Could you show me the error report from event log?

For the tough "hangs" and "crashes" issues, try to use ADPlus.vbs to troubleshoot that:

Thanks.

Thanks for your help - I have not been able to troubleshoot this further as the user has not been available. Hopefully in the future I will get to take another look at it and follow your suggestion to see if I can uncover any more information about this crash.
