Outlook 2010 Sharepoint Task-Lists not showing up in Outlook 2013 with Sharepoint 2010

Hello everyboy,

my CEO has just upgraded from Outlook 2010 to Outlook 2013.
In Ol2010 he had linked a lot of Sharepoint 2010 Tasklists which are now missing in Outlook 2013.

Also I noticed that there's no synchronization between those two versions.

For example:

Most of our Client Computers still using Outlook 2010. When my CEO is logging in one of them and set his Outlook 2010 Profile he's missing his Tasks which he connected in Outlook 2013 from SharePoint Task-Lists. If he connects a to a Task-List from Outlook 2010 it's again missing in Ol2013.

Is there a solution to have both Versions uptodate in both ways?

Thanks, monsee

Hi,

Based on my research, Task Synchronization requires Exchange Server 2013. See:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj554516.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

To work around the issue, we can try disabling SharePoint Server and Exchange Server integration. This action deletes the timer job and disables the UI integration, bringing back the legacy sync behavior to Outlook. You can have a look at the following thread which discussed a similiar issue:

Since this issue is also related to SharePoint, you can also post in the SharePoint forum to get more assistance:
