Outlook 2010 Contact images disappear

I am experiencing an issue with Outlook contact images disappearing in Outlook 2010. When I add a picture to a contact in my personal contacts (on an Exchange 2007 hosted email address) It saves. When I reopen the contact, image is still there.

If I change something else in the contact,  say the person's mailing address,  and click save,  the photo associated with the contact disappears.  My Outlook  is fully patched.  It is not just my account.  I have another user here that I support having the same issue.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

As per the information and details provided by you, to solve the issue, please follow these steps: -

Cause
The Global Address List (GAL) has not updated from Active Directory

The Microsoft Exchange default is for this to update at 5 AM each morning. In addition, if you are using Outlook 2010 in cached mode it may be storing an out-of-date copy of the GAL.

Solution

Delete off Offline Address Book.

Modify the Registry.

I hope this information will be helpful for you.
Thanks and regards
