Need more details Can 2003 users see other 2003 user's F/B info? How about 2010 to 2010? Is the issue just 2003 to 2010 and/or 2010 to 2003? Does F/B info show up in OWA? Is the issue just with Outlook? What version of Outlook? 2003 uses Public Folders for F/B info. Outlook 2003 and early does also. The F/B system folder should be replicated to the Exchange 2010 server if you have Outlook 2003 or earlier clients.Microsoft Infrastructure Architect, MCSE: M, MCTIP, Microsoft Exchange MVP http://info.izzy.org | http://jasonsherry.org | Twitter: @JasonSherry

Hi Pradeesh, Any updates? I also suggest you provide more detailed information about your specific question in order to solve it. By the way, if possible, please remove legacy Exchange server to go to pure Exchange 2010 organization. Thanks Jason for your valuaable suggestions. Please find the answers to your q's. Yes 2003 users can view other 2003 user's F/B info. Yes 2010 users can also view other 2010 users F/B info aswell. This probelm is for few users who all have been migrated from 2003 to 2010.For these affected users Owa is also having the same problem. In my organiztion only Outlook 2010 is being used. Ho can i make sure if the F/B system folder havebeen replicated to the Exchange 2010 server or not. Thanks& Regards, Pradeesh

Thanks for your suggestion Frank. There are around 12000 user mailboxes in my organization still in Exchange 2003 and yet to be migrated to Exchange 2010. These user mailboxes will take next couple more months to be migrated. So i'm desperately finding out some way to sort these calander issues. I also tried cleaning NK2 files from the user outlook profile.outlook /cleanfreebusy etc but of no use..

Hi Pradeesh, So your question is: Exchange 2010 users cannot see free/busy information from Exchange 2003 users, right? Please try to create a new Exchange 2010 mailbox to test. Please check whether there is any event: 4003 on the Exchange 2010 server(maybe you need to turn up Diagnostic logging for "Availability Service"). Similar post, please see: Exchange 2010 cannot see free/busy for Exchange 2003 mailboxes http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchange2010/thread/3203b390-d52a-4e81-8a7e-c2266d909589 By the way, it's always a best practice to install the latest service pack and rollup for Exchange 2010(SP2 RU1) if you haven't installed it.Frank Wang TechNet Community Support
