Hi,

This issue may occur after uninstalling the 64-bit versions of Outlook 2010 and Business Contact Manager 2010, then installing the 32-bit versions. This results in incorrect values remaining in the the following registry keys:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.4\0\win64

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{FB0E72B9-41D3-46FC-9593-0846ECA9E143}\1.0\0\win64\(Default)

If it's your scenario, please try the fix below:

Important Follow the steps in this section carefully. Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.

1. Start the Registry Editor with Administrator permission

2. Locate and then rename the following registry subkey from:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.4\0\win64

to:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.4\0\BAKwin64

3. Locate and then rename the following registry subkey from:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{FB0E72B9-41D3-46FC-9593-0846ECA9E143}\1.0\0\win64

to:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{FB0E72B9-41D3-46FC-9593-0846ECA9E143}\1.0\0\BAKwin64

4. Repair Microsoft Office 2010 or Microsoft Outlook 2010 installation.

In Windows Vista or Windows 7, click Start the Start button , type programs and features in the Search box, and then press ENTER.

In the list of installed programs, right-click Business Contact Manager for Microsoft Outlook 2010 and then click Repair.
