Outlook 2010 12GB .pst file cannot copy/move emails out of the .pst
I have a user that has a 12GB .pst file. The user is on Outlook 2010 & connects to a Exchange 2003 server. the 12GB .pst file got corrupted & I was able to repair it with scanpst and it found 109 errors. I had it repair the errors & the .pst file now has a lost & found folder with 5 different recovered file folders under it.

when I try to copy or move even 1 email to another location outside the .pst file, I get this error message:

Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.

Any ideas how I can get the emails out of this huge folder &  into multiple smaller .pst files?

Hi,

Please note that we usually have to run the Scanpst.exe tool 3-4 times until neither programs returns an error. So if you still have problems with the .pst file, you might want to run Scanpst.exe again upon it.

This specific invalid parameter error in Outlook typically occurs when you have corruptions in your Auto-Complete list. Please try to clear the Auto-Complete Cache in Outlook, then verify result:

Go to File>Options>Mail, click "Empty Auto-Complete List" button under the "Send Messages" section.

Hope this helps.

Restart the server and try again with Scanpst.exe. Its takes multiple attempt until error is fixed. Also, Empty Auto-Complete List as Ethan suggested.
