Outlook 2010 - Font Choices for Send/Reply not sticking

For some of our users, they make changes to the font type and size for both sending and replying. The changes stick. Then after a few days, the font changes go back to the defaults.

Weve re-created the Outlook mail profile (Outlook Online mode) and re-created the Windows profile. Make the font changes. Sticks and then goes back to the defaults.

Suggestions?

Anyone know of any Windows updates and/or Office updates that could be the cause of this problem?

Hi Ron,

Do you have any add-in installed which may cause such an issue? Please try disabling suspicious add-ins and then test the issue again.

Do you use any type of registry cleaner? If so, please disable for several days and check if the issue continues.

How did you change the default font in Outlook? Did you change it via File > Options > Mail > Stationery and Fonts? If so, please try changing the +Body style to see the result. To do this, please follow:

1. Click New Email button to create a new message.

2. Click the Format Text tab and click Change Styles, choose your preferred fonts and other style if necessary.

3. When finishing, click Set as Default button set this as your +Body style in all new messages.

Hope this helps.
