Outlook 2010 - Calendar (Font, Formatting Issues, Missing and Truncated Content)

My organization is on Exchange 2010 and we have several users that are reporting issues with Outlook calendar invites not updating correctly - both those that are created and those that are sent to users. Sometimes they are truncated, and sometimes the formatting distorts, fonts are not the same, hyperlinks are missing. This all occurs once the calendar events/appointments have been sent. If we add attachments to the calendar event/appointment those attachments are scattered all of the place or at times missing.

I have made sure that Office 2010 updates are current, I have uninstallated and reinstalled the entire suite and also repaired it.

Any feedback or assistance is greated appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,

According to your description, there is an issue with Outlook calendar updates when sending or receiving calendar items.

To narrow down the issue, please try the following changes:

1. Confirm if there are any rules set up in server side or client side to change these calendar items.

2. If the issue happens to all Exchange users, please check whether there is any third-party anti-spam program used for message transport scanning. If that is the case, we can disable it to have a try.

3. If the issue only happens to specific users, please reset the Calendar view, change Outlook to use Online mode to check whether the issue continues.

4. Make sure there is no third-party mail scanning program in local machine.

5. Restart Outlook in safe mode to check whether the issue is caused by any add-ins. If the issue doesnt happen in safe mode, please disable the Add-ins one by one to find out the exact cause.
