Outlook 2007 shows disconnected from Exchange 2003
We have an interesting problem. We one laptop from a specific user who can not connect to the MS exchange server. If we setup his account on another PC his mail works fine. So we know it is not his e-mail account. If we take the same laptop that can not connect to exchange and setup another user it works fine. The problem seems to exists with the user's profile and this laptop. After troubleshooting this issue for a couple of days we decides just to rebuild the laptop(re-image). To our surprise the error message pops up again even after re-imaging. The error message is "Can not open your default e-mail folders" you hit ok then outlook closes. We even tried renaming the laptop. Is there anything on the exchange server that ties this laptop and this particular user. Thoughts? -Paul

This is strange...I would start updating NIC firmware and drive of laptop if any available on vendor site...Create new windows and outlook profile of the same user on the same laptop and check...Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
