Outlook 2007 emails dissapears

Hi all.

I have a user that has 2 problems.

1.

Emails are missing in the inbox. I did a test and send an email to myself. I didn't received the email.

To make it interesting. When I check the webmail it says it's in the outbox. But the webmail doesn't have an outbox.

We already removed the outlook profile and the .ost file. But that didn't solved the problem.

2.

When I check the  event log of exchange I see that this user has exceeded the limit of 500 object. When I close a few mailboxes the problem is gone. But she is a secretary and needs access to a few mailboxes.

OS: W7 Ent.

Email: Outlook 2007

Can anyone help me resolving these issues?

Thank,

Ramazan

For quesion one, I am confused why the outbox folder is not found via Webmail. Does he use Exchange mail account?

If there is any rules setting, please disable them to check the result.

For quesion two, the MAPI connection for this mailbox is exceeding the default value for objtFolder in Exchange.

Read here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996193(EXCHG.80).aspx

The value can be upped, but I would recommend post your thread to Exchange forum to see what their recommendations are.

Yes the user uses his exchange account. If I do a search for the specific email the web client says it is in the outbox. But the webclient has only a sent item. And the email is not in the outbox of the local outlook client.

For questions 2 it is clear. I have to increase a registry key. Thanks.

Remaining question 1.
