Outlook 2007 IMAP won't pull in messages

I have a user running Outlook 2007 setup with an IMAP connection to get his email. Up until a few weeks ago the messages would just automatically come into his inbox. We have an automatic send/receive every 10 minutes. Now NO messages will appear until he clicks out the inbox to a different folder and then when he clicks back on the inbox the new messages are there.  Even if we hit the send/receive button nothing comes in until we click out the inbox and then back into it.  He has been using this setup for years and it never worked like that, the messages just automatically came into the inbox.  Did an update or something break this?  Is there anything I can try to do to fix this and get it back working the way it was??

Thanks

Hi,

Please try recreating the Outlook send/receive file (.srs file) and then test the issue again. To do this, navigate to the following path:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook

Find out .srs file and rename it to .old. Restart Outlook and it will create a new srs-file.

If above doesn't fix the issue, please check if this issue continues in a new Outlook mail profile. To create a new mail profile, please refer to the following article:

Please let me know the result.
