Outlook 2007 Contact not synchronizing with Mobile 5
Hi.I've been scratching my head for the past 2-3 weeks. For some reason my Outlook 2007 contact cannot synchronize the new update with my PDA anymore. No error, nothing. For example,if I add a new contact or edit the contact, the new contact information never get push to my PDA. I just restore my PDA to default, reinstall outlook 2007 and it's still giving me the same problem. Anyone has any idea what the error or where to check the log file? Please help? Many thanks.Regards,Le Dude

Hi, There are two types of PDA contacts synchronization. 1. Sync with desktop machine by using special cable or Bluetooth etc. 2. ActiveSync with Exchange Server. So please firstly clarify which type of synchronization you means. If you mean sync with Desktop computer, you may need to check the synchronization software installed and cable/Bluetooths connectivity. If you mean ActiveSync failure with Exchange Server. Please let me know if other PIMs such as Calendars/task can be synchronization without issue. Meanwhile, please also confirm below questions. 1. Whether other devices/users has the same issue? 2. Could you check Event logs on Server? Whether they are any MS-ActiveSync logged? 3. Does OMA work properly? 4.what's the Exchange Server version? I am looking forward to your reply. More information about ActiveSync troubleshooting ======================================= Exchange ActiveSync and Outlook Mobile Access errors occur when SSL or forms-based authentication is required for Exchange Server 2003 http://support.microsoft.com//kb/817379 Regards, Jason
