Outlook 2003 trying to send a message but there is no message in the Outbox
When sending and receiving messages there is no message shown in the outbox but outlooks trys to send a message. If I create a new message and send it that worksfine and I can receive emails no problem. It will say sending message 1 of 2 but there is only one message in the outbox(the new on I just created), this new message gets sent but I may have to restart outlook. I have checked all my mail settings but as I can still send and receive email I know they are correct. I even uninstalled and reistalled outlook but still have the same problem.Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Have you setup any kind of auto response message in outlook or any kinds of rules? You will have to view the message using utility called MDBVIEW or mapieditor to see which message is causing the issue http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb508857%28EXCHG.65%29.aspx Vinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|

Thanks I managed to use the mapieditor but it stil showed 0 messages in the outbox. I deleted the outbox and then restarted outlook and recreated the outbox and it seems to have solved the problem. I did have issues with my address book though which I had to correct.
