I am trying to open the rules window but when I try it opens and then closes automatically. why is that happeing? thanks luis

Corrupt? Can you create a new Outlook profile? View the rules in OWA? Maybe run Office Repair if all else fails.

You could create a new outlook profile for user firstly as Andy said: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918 If the problem still appears, please clean all the rules as the below command or delete all the rules by OWA: Start>Run>Outlook.exe /cleanrules ThanksYour expertise never fails to impress!
