Outlook 2003 installed on a Exchange server 2007 on SBS08 Server
Ive recently inherited a new client that thier old tech person installed Outlook 2003 on the sbs2008 server running exchange 2007. I know this a big no no to do but was wondering what kind of damage has been done to the various services Exchange offers? What steps are involved in reversing any damage? Is it just as simple as uninstalling Outlook on the server? Or would a repair install of exchange need to be done?

Hello Todd,I would like you to check the following information... Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 no longer ships with the client side binaries. Now it is supported to install Outlook 2007 on the same computer on which you have installed Exchange 2007. For more information on this please seehttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/aa996719.aspxSource:Installing Outlook 2007 on an Exchange 2007 serverhttp://blogs.msdn.com/dgoldman/archive/2007/02/27/installing-outlook-2007-on-an-exchange-2007-server.aspxArun Kumar | MCSE - 2K3 + Messaging | ITIL-F V3
