Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003 configuration
I am having an issue getting an outlook 2003 profile to connect to the Exchange server. I have an end user that uses a desktop and a laptop on the road. He can sign into his desktop with no problems. After a number of weeks he has attached his laptop to the network and everytime he tries to launch his outlook, he gets a prompt for his Exchange Server USERID and password. We have tried every password he has used in the past few months without success. I have tried everything I can think of. I deleted his exchange profile in outlook and tried to reconfigure his connection, I have reinstalled Outlook on his laptop and tried to reconnect, I have deleted his exchange mailbox on the server and re-established it. I am a loss, Can anyone help please

Q. Is his notebook a domain notebook ie has it been joined to the domain and if so is he logging in to it using his normal domain user account? Info. If his PC is not a domain PC the user ID and Password you are supplying may not have the correct domain context to connect sucessfully to the exchange server. If its a work Notebook join it to the domain. Other issues that might be causing problems if its not on the domain is it may not be permitted to reslve DNS on your network DNS servers to turn the Exchange server name into a local IP.
