Outlook: New emails marked as read, old emails marked as unread
Exchange 2007 Outlook 2007 This is a very strange problem I'm having with only 1 user. Basically any emails the user receives looks as if they've been marked as read (the font is regular, not bold) and emails that have been read are marked as unread (the font is bold, not regular) - basically the wrong way around. I've formatted the user's machine and installed only Office 2007 and AVG and the problem still exists. I've setup the user's email account on my machine and the problem is even more strange - as well as the font styleing being the wrong way around, the font sizes are also bigger! To me this sounds like something is corrupt, but has anyone else seen this problem before? Thanks, Matt

Hi,How about the behaviour if you access OWA?If any pst file has been created for this mailbox? Please try to use PSTscan to check the health of the file. Also I recommend you to move the mailbox to another mailbox store and then check the issue again.Regards,Xiu

Hi, OWA is fine, no PST's have been used - this is purely Exchange and OSTs. The user also doesn't use a blackberry, though he does use a Windows Mobile (HTC Touch pro) I'll try moving the mailbox to our 2nd server, though I'm not sure how that would help? Thanks, Matt
