Outlook: Cannot display the folder. Not enough memory

Hi.

I'm having an issue with Outlook. The inbox folder is working fine, and I can send and received mails.

However, I cannot access any of my other mail folders nor can I access my calender. When I try to access those, I get the following error:

"Cannot display the folder. There is not enough free memory to run this program. Quit one or more programs, and then try again".

Troubleshooting:

PC is using 4.9GB out of 15.9 GB. Plenty of memory left.

Outlook is using 100 MB of memory.

I found these KBs:

* You receive insufficient memory errors when you expand a mailbox or public folder in Outlook

I have not enabled Public Folder Favorites.

* Error message in Outlook: "There is not enough free memory to run this program. Quit one or more programs, and then try again"

I don't really understand why it should be necessary to play around with RegEdit settings, for this simple task...

I really don't have that many emails. I have used Outlook for 6-7 month now.
According to Outlook account information, I'm having 48.9 GB free of 49.5 GB.

I hope you have a solution for this, as this keeps me from working..... :-(

Thanks,

Alex Emil Petersen.

Hi,

As you mentioned you found the kb Error message in Outlook: "There is not enough free memory to run this program. Quit one or more programs, and then try again", have you tried the workaround anyway?

Note: In case serious problems occur, please back up the registry before making any change to it.

If the problem persists, please run Outlook in Safe Mode, all 3rd-party add-ins will be disabled:

Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the Run dialog, press Enter.

If there is no such issue in Outlook Safe Mode, the issue may be related to some add-ins, disable the suspicious ones to verify which one caused the problem.

In addition, please run Scanpst.exe to scan and repair the errors in the Outlook data file(.pst or .ost), check if this can be helpful:
