Hi all , i have problems with out of office message , i set it up using owa and outlook 2010 with anywhere (autodiscover works ok) , both stores the autoresponse message buth when i send a test mail it doesn't response with the OOF message. In EMC and the Outlooo OOF setings both are configured for internal and external users. I tried with many users and the problem persist. Out of office works ok before , it suddenly stop working. where can i turn on logging or something that could help me whit this. Tanks in advance.TeKi

TeKi, If you checked if OOF is turned on either via outlook or owa check if the arbitration mailboxes are in a correct state. A corrupt or missing arbitration mailbox van cause this kind of issues. Regards, JohanExchange-blog: www.johanveldhuis.nl

JamestechmanFirst i got the message "error service is not available" , i fixed it publishing autodiscover in my dns zone. The message dissapear and i was happy , until i sent the test mail. Johan VeldhuisI tried enabling the OOF from owa and leave it "on" , then i try to configure it from Outlook 2010 with anywhere and when i go to the OOF settings it appear to be "on" so , it successfully store the OOF settings , if i disable from outlook , it appears disabled on owa and vice versa. Also , i try whith several users with same result. The problem arise when one user set up OOF from owa only.TeKi

Johan , i checked the arbitration mailboxes (it show me 3 of them) and all they are in good state. I have several databases without arbitration mailboxes , do i need arbitration mailboxes assigned to this databases ¿?. TeKi
