Hi, If you are using Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2007 then its a known issue. Please install Latest Service pack for MS Outlook 2007 or install this hotfix. Also make sure that you are able to test autodiscovery settings from Click side. press and hold CTRL, Right click on Outlook icon in system tray, click "Test E-mail autoconfiguration...". see if you are able to get autodiscovered configuration from AD and able to reach the published OOF URL (You should get dialog bog asking for credentials it you cut and paste that in IE). If you are not able to connect that URL or not able to PING the server with name, issue may be with DNS, put an entry in HOST file with CAS server's name and IP address. Hope this helps. Thanks. Hi,Is this not working on MAPI or RPC over HTTPS connection or both?Run test on https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ and see the results.Check these commands and look for the results (see if the URLs are properly set)get-autodiscovevirtualdirectoryget-webservicesvirtualdirectoryget-clientaccessserver (look for autodiscover internal uri)Also check TEST EMAIL AUTO CONFIGURATION (right-click the Outlook icon in the System Tray and select Test E-mail AutoConfiguration)Have a look into http://blog.sembee.co.uk/archive/2007/01/21/34.aspx and http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;896861Raj

Hi, Whether you have performed the steps provided by Vishal to "Test E-mail autoconfiguration..." on Outlook client to check whether the Outlook is able to retrieve correct OOF URL?Please check whether the problem client is able to retrieve other's Free/Busy information. I suggest you test this because Outlook connects to EWS Virtual Directory to gather OOF settings and check other's Free/Busy information. From your description, the Outlook connects to Exchange through ROH. Would you please let me know whether the issue occurs on Outlook which connects to Exchange Server directly. Thanks,Mike

Elias, Here is the resolution that fixed the problem for me: 1. Test E-mail Autoconfiguration shows the OOF URL However could not access the OOF URL from IE. 2. Remove the anonymous authentication and configure integrated and basic authentication for EWS directory in IIS on Exchange 2007 server. 3. Stop and resstart the IIS. Please visit the below library for your information.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124251.aspxhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996324.aspx Have a good year, Sachin Shetty| MCP|MCTS|MCITP|Please mark it as Answered and Vote as helpful. Hi Elias, From your test result on https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ site, looks like that Outlook client is able to connect to Autodiscover service from external network. As Outlook needs to retrieve EWS URL through Autodiscover service in order to gather OOF settings check other’s Free/Busy setting, we need to solve the Autodiscover issue firstly. At this time, would you please check whether the external DNS is configured correctly in order to have external client able to resolve autodiscover.domain.com to correct IP address. If you need more information regarding how external Outlook 2007 client locates Autodiscover service, you should read following article firstly: White Paper: Exchange 2007 Autodiscover Service http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb332063(EXCHG.80).aspx Mike Shen TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com
