Out of Office Assistant error
Hello, I just installed a new network (SBS 2008 and Windows 7 Pro running Oulook 2010). Nothing migrated....everything newly installed. All users are internal. When they click on Automatic Replies in Outlook the y get: Your automatic reply settings cannot be displayed because the server is currently unavailable. Try again later. The users can connect using OWA and configure their Out of Office settings. Running Test E-mail AutoConfiguration produces: Attempting Url https://myserver.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml found through SCP Autodiscover to https://myserver.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml starting Autodiscover to https://myserver.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml FAILED (0x800C8203) Autodiscover to https://myserver.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml starting Autodiscover to https://myserver.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml FAILED (0x800C8203) Autodiscover to https://autodiscover.myserver.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml/ starting Autodiscover internet timeout against URL https://autodiscover.myserver.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml Autodiscover internet timeout against URL https://autodiscover.myserver.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml Autodiscover to https://autodiscover.myserver.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml FAILED (0x800C8203) Local Autodiscover for mysite.com starting Local Autodiscover for mysite.com FAILED (0x8004010F) Redirect check to http://autodiscover.mysite.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml starting Redirect check to http://autodiscover.mysite.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml FAILED (0x80072EE7) Srv Record lookup for mysite.com starting Srv Record lookup for mysite.org FAILED (0x8004010F) When I run test-outlookwebservices I get the following results: Id : 1003 Type : Information Message : About to test AutoDiscover with the e-mail address bbxxxxxx@xxxxx.co m. What happens if you try to open the URL https://mail.domain.com/Autodiscover/Autodisc using a web browser? You should get some XML stuff witha 600 error if the Autodiscover virtual directory is working.over.xml Do you have an Exchange SSL certificate installed? Is IIS running? Is the Default Web Site up?Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

-I'm getting a "http error 503".... -IIS is running and default web site is up.... -There is a SSl certificate (created by server). Thanks for your help...

You're using the self-signed certificate? You should issue a certificate from your internal certificate authority or a third-party CA. Or, change all the settings so that you can use HTTP as opposed to HTTPS (not recommended if it will be Internet-facing without something like an ISA or TMG server in between).
