Organizer changes when delegate updates meeting
Hi,
I have been having a problem occur within Outlook 2003.
When a user sends out a meeting request on behalf of her Manager as a delegate in Outlook and then goes to update the meeting, some appointments wont allow the user to update the meeting because it has changed her to the organizer and then meeting request
cannot be updated.
It happens randomly and I unable to pinpoint what may be causing this. When I check the delegates sent items it's definitely not being sent from her Mailbox.
I have also removed delegates and gave the user full mailbox rights via Active Director. I then added that mailbox to the users Outlook and tried sending meeting request as the Manager but with that mailbox opened from the users Mailbox and the problem still
occurs.
We use:
Outlook 2003
Exchange Server 2000
Windows Server 2000
I found a link with a similar issue on the internet but I don't think I can apply that fix.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Marcos,
For the issue you are experiencing is sporadic, I would like suggest you enable Exchange 2000 calendar store tracing. For detailed, please see,
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971435. But enabling calendar store tracing, you will need the store.ttd file, as per my knowledge, the store.ttd file is
a Microsoft internal evolving utility that is updated frequently to fix issues on a case-by-case basis. Please contact CSS [US,
outside of US] for the file.
And please note, support for Exchange 2000 has been ended on Jan 10, 2006. So it won't be any support available when issues occur on the Echange 2000 server during the migration. It would be easier
and safer to build a pure Exchange 2010 environment.
Thanks for your understanding.
Best regards,
Serena
