Organizational Forms Library requesting wrong server
I have an exchange 2010 sp1 server recently migrated from 2003. An organizational forms library was set up according to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg236889.aspx In outlook when I attempt to design a form and select the organizational forms library, outlook errors out. Upon running netmon I can see outlook making requests to the old 2003 server (which is off). Please bear with me as I am a developer just helping out an IT department =). Was looking for some guidance. As far as I can tell the default public forms database is set correctly in exchange management console.

Did you replicate the system folders under EFORMS REGISTRY to Exchange 2010's public folder database? Get-PublicFolder -Identity "\NON_IPM_SUBTREE\EFORMS REGISTRY" -Recurse | fl Identity,Replicas Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

I'll get in touch with the IT folks to find out. In the meantime is there anything I can check to speed the process along? I don't have exchange server access but I can read read all the attributes off the org forms library folder via MfcMapi. I also have read access on AD.

You could speed the process along by creating those replicas!Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Upon running the get-publicfolder cmdlet... Replicas : {} Replicas : {DOE\First Storage Group\Public Folder Store (DOE), Public Folder Database 1095017808} Replicas : {Public Folder Database 2072531866, Public Folder Database 1095017808} Replicas : {Public Folder Database 2072531866} DOE is the old exchange 2003 server. What are the recommended next steps? Thanks for the help!

Your Exchange administrator should have removed all replicas from the Exchange 2003 server's public folder database before turning it off. At this point I recommend that you turn it on, remove all replicas, wait for the replicas to disappear from the public store, then remove the Exchange 2003 server from the organization.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."
