Only Boot Internet Explorer
Good Morning Fellow Microsoft Users,What i am wondering if you can help me with today is a way in which i can allow some of my domain machines to only boot into Internet explorer. The situation is that we have a few computers called Maxterms which are small non domain machines which load into Windows XPE. They run of flash ram 256 ram sticks. I am wanting to edit the registry to allow them to only logon to IExplorer when the user logons so they can;t change any settings or mess with the setting. You might be asking your self why on earth do i want to boot into IE. Reason being we use a program called Citrix to connect from out computers around the country to our servers at head office. Citrix runs of an IE or firefox logon gui. Can anyone help me out with this?

This forum is for deployment of Exchange server, not for Windows or Internet Explorer questions. I suggest you view the other forums for a more appropriate response to your question. But, you can perform this with Internet Explorer in Kiosk mode - this removes all toolbars and windows elements. iexplore -k To put this in the registry, you will need to change the "shell" to be iexplore instead of explorer HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon Change "shell" from explorer.exe to iexplore.exe -k
