I would like to produce a background template for a company wide (a global template) where it sits behind every word document I produce (say 100 different templates) so that if the address changes, I update it to the global template not the 100 individual templates - is this possible?

I do this by having a Global Template that holds AutoText entries with the key information. Then I use AutoText fields in the individual document templates that will call this information from the global template using an AutoText field.

You could even use a UserForm in the global template to update these items. Create & Employ a Userform
