OneNote notebook as a template
Pleas help me. I made a OneNote notebook and saved it as a template. However, when I run it on my computer (after giving it another name), all of the internal links that I built in to navigate around the notebook ... take me back to the template rather than the place in the notebook where I want to go. How can I get the notebook to behave like I want it to?

Hi,

What version of OneNote do you use?

How did you create the template? Is it a page template, a section template or a notebook template? I've tried creating a notebook template and the internal links work properly when create a new notebook based on the template. Please have a look at the following article and check if you have created the template correctly. See:

https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Create-a-template-in-Microsoft-Office-OneNote-2010-dbfcf3fd-b62f-48a8-85fe-5550eee80fe0?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

If the template is created correctly, please also check the internal links. To do this, open the template, right click on a internal link and select Edit Link. Then, check the Address field to see if it's directing to the correct place.

Please let me know the result.
