After opening a new notebook and hit Insert Scanned image the scanner is starts to scan but no image is inserted into the users Notebook. A second attempt results in the user seeing the message  "another instance of insert picture from scanner or camera is already running"

Closing and reopening OneNote does not help.

As the scanner is actually used by the program this is not a driver issue. The Scan application is working.
